Vertical Endeavors: Rock Climbing!

Ages 11-15
Friday, February 28: No School Day! 12:15-4:00pm
Experienced climbers will work with our group for 2 full hours. Explore over 32,000 square feet of indoor climbing surface and reach heights of 63 feet!

National Nutrition Month: The Power of Gut Health!


When: Wednesday, March 5 from 5-6 pm
Where: Chaska Community Center- Red Maple Room
Cost: $10
March is National Nutrition Month. We have invited our Registered Nutrition Coach and Personal Trainer, Shya Tran, to talk about the importance of gut health. Shya will teach you the importance of eating optimally to promote healthy microbiome that helps to metabolize food, boost your immunity, promote soft hair and clear skin. Fee includes 60-minute presentation with questions and a healthy mini yogurt bar.

First-Ever Puzzle Competition: What an Incredible Event!
The Super Bowl wasn't the only exciting "bowl" last weekend.....Chaska Parks and Recreation hosted our first-ever puzzle competition....Puzzle Bowl! This event was a huge success with all 12 teams completing a 500-piece puzzle in under 75 minutes.
First place: Finished in an impressive 36 minutes!
Second place: Right behind in 38 minutes!
A huge shout-out to all the teams for their amazing teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Save the Date!: Chaska Community Center Carnival

It's going to be a Dino-mite time!
This is a free event, however donations are requested to support the Chaska Parks and Recreation Scholarship Program, honoring Nick Mason at the Community Foundation for Carver County (CFCC). The scholarship fund provides financial support for recreation programs and community center memberships. We appreciate your support with an online donation (in any amount!) in lieu of a fee for this special event.

Available to Chaska and Carver residents, this program supports individuals in their participation in City of Chaska Parks and Recreation programs and services to promote overall health and wellness. Program benefit allows for 50% off fees.
