SW Chaska Park - Input Needed!

Greetings,

As you may know, the City is planning for a future 50+ acre park located in SW Chaska. We are currently gathering feedback and ideas from the community which will help define the park.  As a long-time Recreation Supervisor for the City of Chaska, it is exciting to see our community's growth and commitment to both quality facilities and services.  It is my hope that you will share your thoughts about the park!

I want to make you aware of TWO ways to share your input and I encourage you to participate in both!

1) Attend the following focus group discussion for Active Older Adults:
Wednesday, March 26, 9:30-10:15AM
The Lodge at the Chaska Community Center

2) Visit the project website to take an on-line survey:

The on-line survey will be available through Friday, April 4th.  

The results of this survey will be used to help develop concept plans for the park which will then be posted back on the project website.  There is a follow button on the project website for you to sign-up and stay informed over the course of the planning process.  Once the concept plans are posted on the project site, the community will have another opportunity to comment and share ideas on them.  City Staff will also bring the concept plans to community events throughout the summer to gather feedback there as well.
