Chaska Curling Center
Women's and men's curling teams that will represent Chaska Curling Center at the Club National Championships

Club Nationals

This past week, we held our club playdowns to determine the teams that will represent the Chaska Curling Center in the 2026 USA Curling Club National Championships.

Team Jeannot (women's team) and Team Caldwell (men's team) won their respective playdowns. We are excited to cheer them on next March!

The women's event was a double round robin, and the men's event was a double knockout format. Thanks to all the teams that competed. It was fun to watch!

Teammate Registration

Thanks to all the teams that signed up for winter leagues! Teammate registration is going well. Good work by the skips on forwarding the roster email along to get their teammates signed up.

If you still have teammates not signed up, please complete registration by Friday, September 19.

We will then work to get schedules out to teams by early next week.

Lockers: Members can renew lockers over the phone, in person, or online. Please renew by September 30th. Thank you!

Junior Curling

Junior curling is starting up on October 11. Classes meet on Saturday mornings 10 a.m. to Noon. All skill levels are welcome. Ages 8-18. Visit our Junior Curling page for more information and to sign up.

Curling Night Out/Learn to Curl

We encourage people to come out and try curling! Besides private corporate/group rentals, we offer public Learn to Curl and Curling Night Out events.

Curling Night Out events are for a group of 4 to enjoy 90 minutes of curling with instruction, followed by dinner and drinks.

Learn to curls are public classes, good for 1-4 people to come out and get a 2-hour introduction to the sport.

Curling Ice Maker pebbling the ice

Ice Crew Opening

The ice techs are looking to add one person to their crew. This part-time ice maker would mainly work Monday afternoons from 3:30-6 p.m. and weekend mornings from 7-9 a.m. There are also plenty of open shifts that pop up when others take time off!

The position requires:

  • Ability to carry 40-50 lbs.
  • Learn how to operate ice making machinery
  • Ability to handle other basic equipment

Most of the crew have been with us for over 5 years - it's a great group! If interested, please reach out to Scott Belvitch, Head Ice Maker, at sbelvitch@chaskamn.gov.
